I’m so happy my darling Mr ikan, he has his P driving license this year. We had been talking about driving around for a long time. We couldn’t wait to start the trip. We were so happy with his accomplishment.
In August we had planned a trip to Kangaroo Valley. For the special trip, Mr Ikan has rented an SUV car from the Go-get company. I love big cars and I am happy with his choice.
The car has a big compartment. We brought 2 luggage bags and few carry bags filled with food like cup Maggie, 3 minutes dhal packets…yeah Mr ikan is a vegetarian so of cos we are filling the car with vegetables. For me it’s a colon cleansing time!
I was so excited to go to Kangaroo Valley to see Kangaroos, the iconic animal of Australia.
On the that special day, we woke up at 6.00 a.m. to start our trip to Kangaroo Valley.
It was a bright and beautiful day. The sun was amazing just as shiny as our hazel eyes!!!
The most awaited day had arrived!!!
After we finished packing our things into the car, we immediately started off to the Princess Highway. Mr ikan was driving attentively. I was not allowed to ask any question or even talk to him while he was driving. He was showing his sharp nose each time I called his name and sharing my thoughts of the views along the way.
After some times, we went into the Wollongong Visitor Information Centre to find out more about where we are. Wow… we are at Wollongong already, we are half way to reach Kangaroo Valley. Before we leave we buy postcards for keep and thanked the officers at the Wollongong Information Centre who were very helpful when we asked about the Bulli Look Out.
We passed by Warrawong, Lake Illawarra, Shell Harbour, Kiama, Gerringong and Berry to reach Kangaroo Valley.
